The VC-1SC-4K Video Converter/Scaler from Roland creates a versatile interface for your LED video wall. Reliable and Flexible Conversion
SDI and HDMI input ports support 4K DCI, UHD 4K, and HD signals in a wide variety of frame rates. A reference input locks the device to a system clock. SDI and HDMI outputs, including pass-through ports, provide cross-conversion with full support for 12G/6G/3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 formats.
Quick Layout and ROI Cropping
Versatile video scaling tools allow for compatibility with a wide range of display types and sizes. Match your input source to the screen’s resolution using flexible size and position control. The Region of Interest (ROI) function crops a specific area to make the most of non-16:9 displays.
Versatile SDI and HDMI Signal Distribution
Converted signals simultaneously output to the two SDI and two HDMI ports, allowing you to distribute video to multiple devices without requiring additional hardware.
Pro Audio I/O with Audio Sync
Balanced 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs integrate with professional AV systems. Embedded audio from the video inputs can be enabled or disabled. The internal delay function helps sync audio with video.
Powerful Configuration Tools
Onboard buttons, selector switches, and dip switches allow you to customize your setup. Dedicated apps unlock finer control via a USB-C connection.
Multi-Platform App Control
Apps for the VC-1SC-4K are available for iOS, Android, iPadOS, macOS, and Windows for comprehensive hardware control from mobile devices and computers. Three operation modes and an intuitive interface offer fast access to signal status monitoring, parameter editing, and custom configurations.
Status Signals and Editing Tools
Use the status section in the apps to monitor all video and audio signals to confirm all of your signals are flowing seamlessly.
The editor section helps configure all of the device’s primary parameters.
The layout tab provides control over input size and position.
The ROI tab crops areas by dragging or entering exact values.
Detailed color correction can be accessed via the color tab.
Enable and disable embedded audio and route the XLR signals with the audio tab.
Configure and troubleshoot your workflow using test pattern generators.
